Your impact at MUFG

As part of IT Service Delivery, the IT On-Site Support Working Student must be an established person who would provide support and help drive the team towards increased productivity, effective delivery and user satisfaction.

Function positioning

Systems Division supports MBE’s IT structures with regard to IT applications, infrastructure and hardware. There are 4 pillars in the division:

  1. IT Planning
  2. IT Service Delivery
  3. IT Security
  4. MBE Datastore (MDS)

The IT On-site Support Working Student reports to the Team Lead of IT On-site Support who reports the Head of IT Service Delivery who reports to the Head of IT Division.

The role includes the following:

  • Takes part in activities and tasks within IT On-Site Support Team including other activities and tasks which fall under the remit of IT Service Delivery.
  • Identify and diagnose issues and problems.
  • Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions
  • Support problem identification and resolution
  • Advise users on appropriate course of action
  • Monitor issues from start to resolution
  • Maintaining the CMDB
  • Handling service requests via standard work instructions

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

  • Be a full time student with interest in or affinity with IT or other relevant field

Basic Knowledge and/or willing to learn about the following areas

  • ServiceNow tooling
  • Windows client operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office products.
  • Different IT platforms (Vmware, Citrix, VDI)
  • Networks and related protocols
  • Networks and IT security.
  • ITIL processes.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English is essential. Additional Dutch language is preferred
