Your impact at MUFG

Commercial Support Office (CSO), located in the First Line of Defense, provides expertise and support to all front offices in MBE with regard to managing client financial crime integrity risk, AML, Sanctions, transaction and ETP monitoring as well as client data management and integrity. CSO closely cooperates with all MBE client facing units and Relationship Managers and thus is present in the two booking locations of MBE, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.

CSO KYC team is responsible for supporting with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes and complying with local and international AML/KYC/CDD regulations related to Corporate and Financial Institutions client base.

As part of this team, you will be working closely with various team members to learn about KYC process and also support in tasks assigned to you. The tasks would involve but not limited to accessing customer data and make inventory/analyses of data/information relevant to specific projects.

The candidate will collaborate with the other teams of CSO (Data Integrity, AML Sanctions, and QA) and other teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of tasks assigned.

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • supporting all aspects of internal projects involving client data management
  • downloading data from external vendor and saving at specific location on internal directory
  • reviewing current data and attachments, saving at specific location on internal directory
  • updating project tasks workflow

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • Be a full time student with interest in or affinity with banking/finance or other related field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required
  • Good understanding of MS Excel is required; experience of working with any additional Microsoft product suite would be plus.
  • Analyse information and present in a clear way
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong research and analytical skills would be a plus
  • Team player: independent and self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and (to) be flexible in a team environment
