‘Traditional’ is not a term that generally applies to bol. However, we do have a tradition we’re very proud of: our drive to improve. Our transformation from a webshop to an open retail platform is the best-known example, but it’s not the only one; we’re constantly reinventing ourselves. We recently even shed our .com heritage, and we’re currently in the middle of a hugely impactful transition from Agile to product-led. What you'll do as a Product Manager Promotions
Promotions are a key lever in driving customer engagement and commercial success on bol. Whether it’s a flash deal, seasonal campaign, partner-driven offer, or a strategic price discount. The technical foundation behind promotions determines which products get highlighted, how labels are applied, and how customers perceive value. As Product Manager for the Promotions Engine team, you’ll be at the heart of this dynamic domain.
The Promotions Engine is part of bol’s core product organization. That means we don’t just sit in the consumer or partner seat, we enable both by building the foundational capabilities that power promotional visibility across the platform. You’ll act as a bridge between commercial strategy and technical execution.
You’ll lead a cross-functional product team focused on evolving the backend systems that determine promotional eligibility, apply labels, and orchestrate campaigns. Think of promo deals, seasonal campaigns, price discounts, and dynamic labeling.
This role requires a strong sense of ownership, a sharp eye for prioritization, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You’ll need to navigate trade-offs, explore contingencies, and drive progress even when the path isn’t fully clear. At bol, we believe in learning fast, failing smart, and improving every day.
