Experienced Data Science Engineer for Commercial Insights

As a Data Science Engineer at Enablon (part of Wolters Kluwer group), you will independently execute specialized tasks that significantly impact our data-driven insights. Your expertise will support high-quality project outcomes, ensuring the optimal setup of our data landscape and the delivery of insightful dashboards and analyses. You will collaborate closely with management, contributing to the continuous improvement of BI processes and fostering data-driven innovation within the organization.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Integration of data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Building data models and implementation of technical solutions, including coding, scripting, and the use of various data engineering tools and technologies. You will make use of Microsoft Fabric for building those models.
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to monitor and maintain data quality, working closely with the Associate Director Strategic Program Management.
  • Maintenance of various systems and tools, such as Salesforce, SAP, Pendo, ServiceNow and others.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for various commercial user groups that help them gain actionable insights on operational and strategic level.

You will have the rare opportunity to build the data landscape from scratch and therefore have a major impact on the Business. From the very beginning, you’ll have the opportunity to critically challenge stakeholders on their needs — enhancing your impact on both the final results and the quality of delivered solutions.

About You

  • You hold a Bachelor degree or higher.
  • You have approx. 4 years of working experience; ideally in an engineering-related role.
  • Experience with ETL processes and Data Governance.
  • Experience with data modelling and data mining
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Good understanding of the software industry and its commercial processes
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate insights clearly.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
