Job description

Senior Analyst – Compensation

The Senior Analyst - Compensation works as an integral part of the Compensation team with a Compensation Enablement focus. The role assists in core work for the Compensation team, including assisting in development and use of tooling, responding to compensation queries from stakeholders, job evaluations to ensure new positions within the company are fairly graded, market pricing, performing (market) data analysis projects, and assisting and administering various compensation programs and projects under the guidance of the manager.

What you will do:

Ad-hoc Compensation Queries

  • Respond to compensation queries from stakeholders in a timely and insightful matter
  • Ensure a structured archiving of questions and answers
  • Identify query trends and potential resulting improvements to our processes/guidelines
  • Support our stakeholders with job evaluations
  • Supports the integration of newly acquired companies into the organization

Compensation-related Tools and Processes

  • Assist in the development of compensation tools to support different compensation processes (e.g. grading, benchmarking)
  • Review operational processes and provide inputs for improvement
  • Assist in implementing new tools, systems and processes across specific parts of the business from a compensation perspective
  • Train stakeholders in the use of compensation tools and C&B processes
  • Support and analyze current local compensation practices and harmonize
  • Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of compensation programs and ensuring excellence in their delivery

Salary Surveys and Benchmarking

  • Prepare data submissions for our region
  • Keep track of survey data requirements and availability
  • Review survey matches / changes by survey providers
  • Maintains market pricing software setup for our regions and updates benchmark data if required

Annual Processes

  • Supports annual merit process (system enhancements, testing, build)
  • Supports annual bonus process (system enhancements, testing, build)
  • Supports annual equity process (system enhancements, testing, build)
  • Maintains salary structures and geographic differentials
  • Work together with MyHR and other stakeholders to keep our HRIS (WorkDay) up-to-date and aligned with compensation practices
  • Review and approve offers and other compensation requests
  • Maintain compensation grade profiles
  • Review data consistency and work with Data Governance to resolve
  • Creates compensation data load files for systems team

Enable Comp Team

  • Assist in providing high quality analytics
  • Participate in HR projects where compensation analyses are involved
  • Support Compensation Business Partners and provide expert solutions where reward is involved
  • Support job evaluation process
  • Other duties as assigned

What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Good knowledge of compensation principles and practices.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources or related field and 1+ years of experience working in Compensation specifically
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering on established timelines
  • Exercise independent judgment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to understand and work within a complex matrix organization
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Power BI knowledge
