ESG FP&A Controller

As ESG FP&A Controller at Mediq, you will be part of an ambitious and growing organization. You are a key player in shaping, validating and improving our ESG reporting and performance. You will be part of the Group FP&A team and a key member of the ESG Office. In this role you act as a link between data providers, ESG topic owners, and reporting systems. You will help ensure our ESG disclosures meet the highest standards in accuracy, consistency and impact.

Mediq is committed to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). Requirements under ESG standards is growing and we are improving our ESG performance monitoring and reporting. In this new role, you play a central role in collecting, analyzing and validating ESG data across all Mediq entities. You support our stakeholders in using the ESG reporting platform Workiva, help close data gaps and translate ESG data into strong disclosures and meaningful dashboards.

You ensure our ESG report and presentations are fully aligned with CSRD and other reporting frameworks, while continuously improving the quality and consistency of our reporting process. This role combines elements of controlling, reporting, data quality management and compliance within an international ESG-driven environment.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the aggregation, analysis, and validation of ESG data across departments and countries
• Maintain and optimize our ESG data platform (Workiva), enabling others to work efficiently
• Support ESG Topic Owners and Data Providers with data and tooling guidance
• Provide sign-off on data quality and completeness
• Prepare stakeholder presentations and assist in responses to ESG rating agencies
• Monitor ESG reporting compliance and flag risks and improvement areas to the ESG Business Partner
• Contribute to the annual ESG report and future Integrated Annual Report
• Stimulate continuous improvement and benchmarking of ESG reporting processes

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability or Business Administration
• 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, ESG reporting, controlling or audit
• Experience with ESG frameworks (e.g. CSRD, GRI, EFRAG), non-financial data and internal controls
• Affinity with tooling and data platforms – Workiva experience is a strong plus
• A proactive, structured and collaborative mindset
• Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Able to translate technical and complex topics into clear actions
• Can tell the story behind numbers
• Experience working in global, matrixed organizations is a plus
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

You’ll work in the ESG Office and report to:

The Group Head of FP&A and work closely with Group Manager Corporate, IT and ESG. You’ll collaborate closely with ESG Topic Owners, Data Providers, Comms, and Finance teams across Mediq.
