Join Picnic as a Supervisor & Process Improvement Specialist

Application deadline: 13th August @ 9am

Are you an experienced Captain, ready for the next step within Picnic? Are you excited by the prospect of setting up a brand new process within Picnic with a small team of motivated colleagues? Now is the perfect time to apply for the Supervisor position in our brand new Fruits & Vegetable Distribution Center in Geldermalsen!

🎯 What you’ll do

As a Supervisor & Process Improvement Specialist you will have three Supervisor and two office days per week. On the Supervisor days you will make sure everything runs smoothly in the operation. You make sure the trucks, full of fresh fruits and vegetables for our Picnic customers, leave the Distribution Centre and arrive at our Fulfilment Centers on schedule. If a problem arises, you stay calm and know how to fix it in no time. You will motivate and coach the Shoppers and Lead Shoppers you are working with in your shift, contributing to a happy and comfortable work environment for everyone!

On the office days you will be working on projects to improve processes in the DC. Our new location will work towards a lean operation, working with 3 value streams: the Inbound, Outbound or Planning value stream. Your main focus will be on one of these three value streams, meaning most of your projects will be related to that topic. We will decide together which value stream fits you best!

Also, you will be the Team lead to 20 to 30 shoppers in your DC. You will be their first point of contact, and responsible for check-ins and contracts. Together you form a strong team!
