Join Picnic as a Photography Operations Working Student

Are you creative and hands-on? Are you eager to learn more about photography productions? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Photography Operations Working Student at Picnic, you'll help shape how our products and recipes are visually represented in the Picnic app. Whether you're studying creative business, marketing or simply have a strong interest in this field, this role offers a great learning environment. Some Photoshop experience is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, you’re proactive, hands-on and excited to get involved.

We're looking for someone to join us in September or earlier, for 16 hours per week.

Tricks of the trade

  • Configure: products and recipes photos in our systems
  • Help prepare: the photo shoots in our inhouse photo studio
  • Collaborate: with an international team of Photographers, Retouchers, and Content Managers and external editing agency to ensure all photos go through the flow
  • Retouch: product and recipes images (if you’re interested in the Photoshop aspect)

Your superpowers

  • You're enrolled in a relevant HBO school (Creative Business, Communications or similar)
  • You're eager to get hands-on and can work independently
  • You love details and have a keen sense of aesthetics
  • You ideally have some experience with Photoshop
  • You're fluent in English
  • You live in or near Amsterdam, allowing you to work from our beautiful office and photo studio

💰Attractive package

You’ll receive a gross hourly wage of €15.50, along with a laptop and phone to support your work. Travel costs can also be reimbursed, depending on your location.
