JOB PURPOSE

As the Payroll & Benefits HR Assistant, you will support the day-to-day payroll and benefits operations for both the Netherlands and Belgium. You’ll work closely with our external payroll provider and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing, while also assisting with the integration of benefits and responding to employee inquiries. This role is essential in maintaining smooth HR operations and ensuring data integrity across systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with the external payroll provider to support payroll processing for both office and factory employees.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between payroll systems such as Workday, and SAP.
  • Assist in the integration and administration of employee benefits, including collaboration with AON and other local providers.
  • Collect and validate data from Time & Attendance systems where needed.
  • Process employee data changes in Workday and support local HR teams with operational tasks.
  • Provide payroll-related data and documentation to the regional Payroll HUB via ServiceNow.
  • Respond to basic employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Support national-level HR operations and ensure compliance with local requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Qualifications

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience with HR and payroll operations.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and HR operations in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Experience working with external payroll and benefits vendors.
  • Knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, SAP, and ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of Time & Attendance systems and benefits administration.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Awareness of data privacy and compliance standards.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support various stakeholders.
