Factor_ is a ready-to-eat meal delivery service that takes a whole new approach to fresh-prepared food. Weekly rotating menus are chef-prepared and approved by nutrition specialists making mealtime simple and stress-free, and providing convenience without having to compromise. Every Factor_ meal is made from scratch using only the freshest premium ingredients. Our Factor_ brand has teams across North-America and Europe and currently delivers to residents in North-America, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium and we plan to expand to other European countries in the future. Factor_ is part of the HelloFresh Group which now includes our core brand, HelloFresh, as well as: Green Chef, EveryPlate, Chefs Plate, Factor_, and Youfoodz.

The role

We are hiring an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, naturally curious individual to define and deliver the physical product roadmap for our newest brand, Factor: a healthy, ready-to-heat meal delivery service.

In this role, you will lead our charge to achieve extreme levels of product-market fit across all five of our European markets, driving key decisions on our product assortment, pricing, and value proposition to customers. As part of our Product team, you will be the champion of our customer, ensuring we develop a thorough understanding of their behaviours, needs, and pain points, and will relentlessly iterate on our product offering as we shape the future of the ready-to-heat category in Europe.

What you’ll do

  • Develop an extremely detailed understanding of the Factor Europe customer, using every possible source of quantitative and qualitative information (analysis of internal/external data, customer interviews, surveys, etc)
  • Develop, iterate, and validate key hypotheses about how we can best address the needs and pain points of our customers, achieving outstanding levels of product satisfaction and retention
  • Develop a compelling product roadmap, identifying our greatest opportunities and focusing the team on our most important priorities, in collaboration with peer leaders across other functions (Culinary, Marketing, Operations, etc)
  • Lead and manage each initiative on your roadmap through the full product lifecycle. Be prepared to be hands-on!
  • Work with our Digital Product team to prioritize experiments that optimize product performance, identifying opportunities and creating business cases as needed
  • Share learnings widely across other brands and geographies, and partner with them to continuously improve and evolve the way we work and the results we can achieve

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant education in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other related field
  • 6+ years’ experience within either a commercial FMCG role, such as brand / category management, a top tier consultancy, a high-growth startup, or an e-commerce environment
  • Outstanding problem solving skills: you are methodical, data-driven, and logical, and have a track record of solving both well-defined and highly ambiguous / complex problems
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills: you can shift your perspective to work across different functions and geographies, and generate true buy-in to your initiatives
  • An advanced project management toolkit, and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward at the same time
  • A customer-obsessed mindset: you dive into all available data to surface trends in our customer base and category, but also have strong product instinct and customer intuition
  • An entrepreneurial streak: you love working in an early stage environment; you’re excited about creating the future and shaping the ready-to-heat category in Europe
  • An obsession with food and nutrition!
