To get the word out about all the ways we can serve the users, we’re seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. Be part of shaping and communicating our strong online brand identity and meet the users where they engage with brands.

Take Ownership:

In this role, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and performance of our social media channels. You’ll be the driving force behind growing our audience, amplifying our brand voice, and turning social into a high-impact marketing engine. This role requires a sharp, analytical mind with a strong creative edge—someone who thrives on making bold calls, testing new ideas, and delivering results fast.

  • Develop and lead channel strategies for Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and beyond, with clear goals for growth, engagement, and conversion
  • Act as the channel owner, defining what content belongs where, why it matters, and how it performs—across formats and platforms
  • Translate business and marketing goals into platform-specific content strategies that drive awareness, consideration, and retention
  • Lead the creation and curation of engaging, high-performing content (copy, video, graphics)—working with internal creators (content team) or briefing external talent
  • Use data obsessively: track performance, test and iterate content, and continuously optimize for growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, brand, PR, and paid media to make sure social campaigns hit hard and align with the broader strategy
  • Foster a passionate, engaged community that turns followers into fans and fans into advocates

This challenge is perfect for you if

  • You know how to grow audiences, drive engagement, and deliver real business impact through social
  • You have a track record of managing and growing social media channels and you know best practices for social media platforms such as Twitter, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram
  • You make decisions based on data and can spot patterns in performance metrics faster than most
  • You’re an excellent writer, able to create engaging content and adapt it to each social media channel
  • You have a keen eye for detail, making sure all social media content aligns with bunq’s guidelines and latest product positioning
  • You know your way around social media management tools such as Sprout
  • You’re resourceful and adaptable with a strong ability to think outside the box
