About the role

The Opportunity

A fast-growing SaaS scale-up in the PropTech space is looking for a full-cycle Business Development Manager to help drive adoption of its platform among SMB clients. The platform improves communication between landlords, property managers, and tenants — and is already used in vibrant areas such as Amsterdam’s “de 9 Straatjes”.

You’ll be focused on the “City” segment, selling to street and area managers across the Netherlands. This is a high-volume, outbound-driven sales role with plenty of room to grow into senior AE or move toward the enterprise real estate track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: from outbound outreach to closing new business
  • Focus on SMB accounts, especially public/private street and area management organizations
  • Build pipeline through outbound tactics: event networking, social selling, cold outreach
  • Benchmark: book 3 qualified meetings in your first week
  • Manage short sales cycles with average deal sizes around €6K ARR

Career Growth

  • Opportunity to grow into a Senior AE role or transition into the Enterprise Real Estate segment
  • Collaborate with a team of 30 FTEs in Rotterdam across sales, marketing, product, and customer success

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience as a BDR/SDR or in a junior closing role
  • Native Dutch speaker
  • Comfortable with outbound sales and presenting at events
  • Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to Haves

  • Based in South Holland
  • Experience giving structured product demos

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: €3,800–€4,500/month (including holiday allowance)
  • 7.5% commission on all ARR closed (bonus typically earned within 2–3 months)
  • Pension plan included
