About the Role

Within the Global Supply Chain we are looking for a Global Supply Planning Excellence Manager to design, develop and deploy the necessary standards, capabilities and digital solutions to deliver Performance Improvement in the Global Supply Planning network.

What we ask

• Academic/Master level of education/thinking in supply chain or operations management
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain Planning, including Operational Excellence roles
• Experience with supply planning and reporting tools and systems, such as SAP, OMP, Power BI
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in supply planning and inventory optimization
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (English must, Dutch optional)
• Ability to influence a broad variety of senior stakeholders with opposite interests
• Being able to work as business partner in a multi-cultural, dynamic environment, at all levels and in cross-functional teams
• Strong drive for result and action; ability to turn expertise into impact to deliver performance improvement
• Innovative, creative and can do mindset
• Pragmatic and flexible, able and willing to travel to assigned business scope if needed

Vacancy description

The main areas of responsibility are:

Performance standards:
Design global performance management and improvement standards in supply planning and deploy these standards in global and local entities to achieve full global coverage.

Performance improvement:
Drive the growth of the capabilities and the ways of working within supply planning across all Customer Supply Chains and all BG’s (incl FCI & SN) by designing, developing and deploying programs within the supply planning area and managing the full planning community (approx. 320 FTE).Drive global and local performance culture within supply planning and performance improvement through the proper application of these standards, capabilities, solutions and ways-of-working.Challenge global and local planning entities on performance improvement opportunities and provide training and guidance to supply planning teams to ensure consistent application of processes and best practices.

Performance objectives:
Execute internal (maturity assessment) and external benchmarking of our performance in supply planning, apply these benchmarks to design and set performance objectives globally and locally.Collaborate with other functional teams (e.g., demand planning, finance, IT, Procurement, Make) to ensure alignment and integration of supply planning processes with overall supply chain strategies.

ANURA program
The upcoming years you will be highly involved as SME/ key person within supply planning in Anura project (new advanced tooling and ways of working to become more agile & responsive, deliver performance improvement in terms of lower lost sales, waste and inventory to beat the competition) to design the new way of working of the future. In this role you operate as OPEX lead bringing key decisions to our S&OP BPO with regards to Supply Planning, Scheduling and MRP planning.

In this role you belong to the Planning Excellence team, which is part of the Operational Excellence & Digital team of our Global Supply Chain organization and is based in Amersfoort. You will be part of a diverse, ambitious team and will report to the Director Planning Excellence a.i., Tineke Folkers (also Program Director Anura). You will frequently be in contact with leadership of our global Supply Chain organization, BPO members, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and Key Users in the area of Supply planning, Scheduling and MRP planning. In this role you work hybrid with regular days in the office based in Amersfoort.
