We are looking for an energetic and proactive HR Adviser to join our Sea Logistics HR team in Rotterdam.

In this role, you will support various HR processes and initiatives, providing essential assistance to our HR Business Partners across Sea Logistics locations in the Netherlands. You will also serve as a key link to our HR Operations team.
You understand that every manager has different needs and know how to deliver guided support while multitasking and working independently, tackling your priorities within given deadlines. You advise line management on operational HR matters and act as the go-to person for HR policies and procedures.

How you create impact

• Support HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and absence management;
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant labor laws and regulations;
• Manage and execute workflows in our HR system;
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and managers within Sea Logistics;
• Assist HR Business Partners with processes, projects, and initiatives;
• Contribute to HR projects based on your skills and interests;

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent HBO working and thinking level;
• 2–4 years of experience in a supporting HR role, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or an international corporate environment;
• Present Knowledge of Dutch labor law, including Wet Verbetering Poortwachter;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• Solution-oriented with strong organizational skills;
• Stressresistant and resilient within dynamic fast paced work environment;
• Experience with AFAS is a plus, aside from being proficient in MS office;
• Available for at least 32 hours per week.

You will have 24 vacation days and 3.5 atv days and you have the option to buy additional days. We work in a flexible working schedule whereas your private life- work balance is optimal, including the possibility to work from home. You will start with an annual contract, and if everyone is satisfied, resulting in a permanent employment afterwards. Kuehne + Nagel is a good and reliable company, therefor a VOG is requested at the start.
