We are looking for an Email Marketing & CRM Specialist to join our Digital Content Team. Reporting into the Senior CRM Manager, you will be responsible for managing global email marketing activities, driving best practices to uplift conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value. You’ll also support broader CRM initiatives and play a key role in optimizing our email marketing processes. A solid grasp of email strategy, experience with ESPs, and confidence in data and reporting are key to succeeding in this role.

The team is open, collaborative and there is room to develop your skills and bring in innovative ideas.

What will you do?

  • Ownership of the email marketing and segmentation plan for our newsletters, including end-to-end co-ordination (planning, briefing, testing, sending, reporting);
  • Identify and develop solutions to optimize our email marketing based on data; using trading/product knowledge to ensure emails are commercially driven, relevant and targeted;
  • On-going segmentation of customer database to identify and target customer segments with specific campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, across HQ and local markets to develop an engaging email content strategy, optimize segmentation, and enhance personalization.
  • Ownership of planning and execution of our local markets email marketing calendars.
  • Set and execute testing plans for email content, subject lines and offers to improve the results and engagement of campaigns;
  • Manage email performance reporting and gather insight to continuously improve engagement and assist with effective CRM strategy;
  • Present CRM analysis and insights into the wider business
  • Work closely with the CRM Manager developing initiatives to help improve and drive data capture across all customer touch points including the website, stores, competitions, and packaging;
  • Support on other key email and CRM projects.

What will you bring to the table

  • You have proven experience owning CRM marketing and segmentation plans, including the end-to-end co-ordination (planning, briefing, testing, sending, reporting), within a retail brand (1-3 years' experience in a similar role).
  • You have experience using ESP systems (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and advanced knowledge of email marketing best practice.
  • You are pro-active and you are an analytical individual with excellent communication skills. Fully proficient in Excel e.g., pivot tables, creating charts, VLOOKUPS plus experience with other data analytical tools (preferably Google Analytics, Datastudio).
  • You are able to manage multiple work streams at the same time and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met. Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy and you have a passion for digital marketing, and be driven by results. Desired experience (or willingness to learn), you have knowledge of data tables and data querying languages, SQL and knowledge of GDPR requirements.
  • You have experience with global teams working together and you have previous experience editing HTML.
