Our mission is to enable everyone to contribute to and co-create the software that powers our world. When everyone can contribute, consumers become contributors, significantly accelerating the rate of human progress. This mission is integral to our culture, influencing how we hire, build products, and lead our industry. We make this possible at GitLab by running our operations on our product and staying aligned with our values.

Your leadership will not only empower GitLab team members to make data-driven decisions but will also unlock powerful insights for our customers, helping them optimize their DevSecOps workflows and accelerate feature development. Your work directly impacts how organizations understand and improve their software delivery performance at scale.

  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership (VP of Product, CPO, CTO, CEO) to shape product direction
  • Transform high-level vision into actionable, prioritized roadmaps with clear milestones and dependencies

Deliver Exceptional Customer Value

  • Leverage data insights and customer feedback to guide product decisions and measure success
  • Maintain unwavering focus on quality while balancing velocity and innovation
  • Consistently translate customer challenges into valuable product solutions

Lead Cross-Functional Integration

  • Orchestrate technical alignment across Analytics components and throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle
  • Eliminate silos by fostering deep collaboration with Engineering, UX, Quality, Data, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams
  • Identify product overlap opportunities and facilitate cross-team solutions

Champion Product Evangelism

  • Articulate the Analytics vision through compelling customer conversations, documentation, and demonstrations
  • Create internal momentum through showcases, blog posts, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Develop comprehensive GitLab product expertise to identify integration opportunities and strategic advantages

  • Understanding of the competitive landscape for data analytics, with a focus on DevSecOps best practices and AI-driven workflows
  • Technical background or clear understanding of data movement systems from instrumentation, ingestion, storage, processing/transformation, and analytical presentation layer.
  • You share our values and work in accordance with those values
