In this role, you will be the central link between developers, testers, technical writers, product managers, purchasers, production teams, and support organizations. You will ensure that the project objectives are clear to everyone and coordinate all activities. You will be in constant contact with stakeholders within Lely to guarantee the successful introduction of product improvements in the field. You will work within a team of Project Managers under the leadership of the Lead (PD) Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead a project involving a multidisciplinary team of 20 to 25 engineers, ensuring that everyone stays aligned toward a common goal.

Your main tasks include:

• Creating, implementing, and aligning project plans with relevant stakeholders while coordinating all project activities;
• Managing the budget and monitoring cost developments of the machine;
• Managing risks and suppliers;
• Challenging and motivating engineers to deliver an optimal and high-quality technical product;
• Providing progress reports for management and stakeholders.

Wat is jouw ervaring?

We are looking for an inspiring and strong leader with experience in mechanical engineering and software engineering. Furthermore:

• You have a completed Master’s degree in a technical field and at least seven years of experience as a project manager or team leader in a technical product development environment;
• You have experience with long-term New Product Introduction (NPI) projects;
• You possess excellent communication skills;
• You are highly result- and action-oriented;
• You are aware of your surroundings, decisive, and tactful;
• You have experience in the development of mechatronic products.
