What you’ll do

You will translate strategy and innovation into operational reality. You are the connector between operations, IT, and commercial teams, ensuring that changes, from new assets and regulations to digital tools, are implemented smoothly in our 24/7 operations. You’ll be involved in diverse projects that shape the future of energy management, from integrating batteries into our trading systems to improving our flexibility services for grid operators in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. You bring structure to complexity and define what’s needed for the business and our operations.

• Design, coordinate and implement operational changes related to new energy assets, legislation, or customer propositions
• Translate business requirements into process improvements, tooling, and data adjustments
• Act as the point of contact between operations and IT, ensuring smooth communication and delivery
• Analyse complex operational challenges and develop future-proof, data-driven solutions
• Focus initially on improving the aFRR flexibility delivery chain and battery integration
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and standardization of processes

Is this about you?

You are a thinker who knows how to connect and translate business needs into solutions by doing.

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree with a technical, digital, or operational focus
• A proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new topics or challenges
• Strong communication skills — you can talk with experts and explain solutions clearly to non-specialists
• The ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment and work across teams and disciplines
• Affinity with data and tools like Excel and Power BI
• A can-do mentality and the drive to challenge the status quo
• Strong command of Dutch and English (French or German is a plus)

You’ll be responsible for

• Translating commercial proposals, contracts, and client needs into practical, end-to-end operational solutions
• Implementing new energy management products and processes from concept to go-live
• Safeguarding 24/7 operational continuity together with traders, IT, and dispatchers
• Optimizing our energy asset portfolio through smart automation and process improvements
• Acting as a sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders in energy operations

You will join the Analytics & Realization Team, part of the Trade Operations & IT. The team consists of around 15 professionals (junior to senior), including analysts, project leads and data scientists. Together, you implement change quickly, effectively, and sustainably.

Gross annual salary between €70.000 and €98.000
