Your mission:

Epson is recruiting for an exciting new traineeship within our Finance Accounting department of Epson EMEAR.

If your goal as a trainee is to gain maximum opportunity to experience different tasks as a junior finance member working within a dynamic international business environment – we would love to see your application!

The trainee will be mentored/coached by their line manager and receive daily attention, training on financial basics, as well as career/personal development advice. The successful trainee will also be regularly reviewed in line with Epson’s general appraisal process.

As flexibility is key to a modern lifestyle this role also comes with three days WFH.

What you will do:

• Assist with manual journal entries in SAP
• Assist with credit card reconciliations
• Assist with employee expense report processing and analysis
• Assist with account/transaction analysis and cost interpretations
• Assist with preparation of company trial balance
• Support in reconciliation of the list of the General Ledger accounts
• Assist with organizing accounting related internal control documentations
• Assist with ad hoc financial accounting operational data entry and with some account reconciliations

What we ask for:

• Studying for bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics or finance. Minimum of 3 years completed
• Looking for a 6 to 9 months traineeship during last year of study
• Basic financial / accounting knowledge
• Affinity with finance and reporting systems
• Exposure to international business environment
• Knowledge of Excel, including experience in using Excel as a tool for financial analysis and reporting
• Experience and knowledge of ERP (e.g., SAP)
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
