Internship (Sustainability): Global Sustainability – Specialized Nutrition

You will be part of the Sustainability team, a small and lean team connected to all the functions of the organization. You will be supervised and report to the Sustainability Transformation Director of the Specialized Nutrition Unit of Danone. You will interact with different departments and gain experience at a global scope in a multicultural company.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Participate in the development of Danone Specialized Nutrition sustainability strategies through scouting of information, data consolidation, context understanding, competitors’ tracking
• Accumulate sustainability insights, benchmarks and initiatives into a summary to translate them into actionable opportunities
• Build a communication plan (engagement + upskilling) to spread Danone SN initiatives and actions across the organization
• Support internal marketing and sales team in embedding sustainability into their action plans
• Support the team in the building of a knowledge library on sustainability

About you

We are looking for a Master student in Business or another equivalent field with a good understanding of business dynamics and a strong interest in Sustainability and Environmental Science. You have strong analytical and research skills, easy communication, you like digging into data and working with Excel and PowerPoint and your English is fluent (verbal and written). You are not afraid to proactively reach out to people when necessary and you are perfectly able to work in autonomy. You are curious, adaptable, reactive, your professionalism is well known. You can also demonstrate your organizational and detail-orientation skills. Some creativity added to rigor is a plus.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
• Ideally available to start in July/August 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 5 days per week.
