Product Owner Sustainability & ESG

The ESG team of Versuni is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team player that delivers results and who wants to be part of this journey. You will collaborate with dedicated professionals working together to ensure that Versuni meets its sustainability goals and compliance requirements. This role reports into the Senior Manager Sustainability & ESG.

The impact you’ll make:

• Ensure Compliance: Facilitate technological and data setup for compliance with environmental, sustainability, and governance reporting requirements.
• Utilize Data Skills: Manage ESG-related data, perform analyses, and generate insights to drive compliance and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with legal, operations, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with ESG goals.
• Develop Product Vision: Create and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for ESG initiatives, aligning with company objectives.
• Plan Sprints: Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute sprints, ensuring timely delivery of high-priority items.
• Monitor Performance: Track and report on the progress of ESG initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the ESG domain, with a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• In-depth knowledge of ESG principles and reporting standards (preferably CSRD & EPR).
• Familiarity with Agile tools and software (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project execution.
• Proficiency in managing ESG-related data, performing analyses, and generating actionable insights.
• Experience with data management tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Environmental Science/Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent is a plus.
