What you'll do

• Providing business focused, strategic, commercial and proactive legal support to TomTom stakeholders of the referenced departments, including management team members
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of both international procurement and sales contracts and terms and conditions
• Reviewing Data Privacy Agreements and making sure the applicable processes are followed
• Pro-actively notifying and training the business on the internal processes and ensure efficient and effective implementation
• Instructing external lawyers when and where appropriate to ensure the best possible outcome for the business

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in law and a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably gained at an (international) law firm and in a commercial in-house environment
• Good understanding of and experience with commercial law, technology and software licensing (SaaS, inbound license agreements) in an international environment
• Excellent drafting skills, substantial experience in assessing, negotiating and concluding international commercial contracts, such as professional services agreements, lease agreements and license agreements
• Self-starting, committed to operational excellence, Team player, and independent work attitude
• Commercial, pragmatic and structured approach, combined with the ability to be flexible and creative
• Excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing
