JOB PURPOSE:

The IC HR Lead for Benelux will be responsible for ensuring HR runs smoothly for all our local employees in the Benelux. This includes end-to-end accountability for delivery of all HR activities – from crafting strategic HR plans to deliver business P&L, hire to retire services, IR/ER strategy, and all other HR topics, leveraging the global Ice Cream interventions and within the Ice Cream governance. Additionally, the role is responsible for partnering the LT on key strategic decisions.

This role will require you to get operational as we set up some of our core processes & policies in HR, working with a team to provide the best experience for our employees. As Amsterdam is our headquarters, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with key senior stakeholders inside & outside HR, as you drive a national agenda to be embedded in the coming years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivery of Workforce planning, P&L & Overheads with LT
  • ED&I programmes
  • Employment policies and legal framework
  • External relations including industrial relations and collective bargained agreements
  • Oversight of BI cases (Code Committee)
  • Country pensions, rewards inc. annual merit review & local benefit programmes in partnership with rewards expertise team
  • Talent attraction & succession responsibility for all talent in the country
  • Local incident & crisis management
  • Change management & engagement
  • Effective functioning of leadership teams and specific interventions
  • Manage talent forums for managerial (WL2) and director (WL3) positions in country teams
  • Leveraging the products and tools developed by the Expertise team
  • Run talent forums in their country
  • Job evaluations Assistant Manager (WL1) and Manager roles (WL2)
  • Collaboration with Works Councils, both locally and internationally

  • Minimum 8-12 years of HR experience in a multinational
  • Fluent in Dutch & English (French a plus)
