Cefetra Benelux is a leading and ambitious supply chain manager in agricultural materials to the feed, food, and fuel industry. Their focus is selling grains, soya, and co-products to the European compound feed industry. On an annual basis, Cefetra Benelux trades around 8 million metric tons with a revenue over €2 billion. The job
As a Customs Manager, you will be responsible for all customs-related matters for several Cefetra Group companies. Approximately 75% of the work is customs-related and the rest is tax-related. You will be part of a tax team of three colleagues. Working as a Customs Manager means that you will be responsible for customs-related issues as part of a wider tax control framework, as well as overseeing customs-related compliance and customs permit management. You will also support the business on new product-related issues such as origin determination and commodity code classification. Cefetra's customs (import) declarations are outsourced to external customs brokers. You will assist in the management of customs brokers. Finally, you will support the business with the implementation of projects such as EUDR and new business development.

You are
Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a 'self-starter' mentality, to be open-minded and curious. You should be able to work both independently and with people from all levels within the Cefetra Group. You should also be able to identify with the following requirements:

• Your educational background is equivalent to a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• You have relevant experience in customs legislation
• Experience within the agri commodity business is a plus
• You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English (both verbally and written); any other languages are always a plus
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, matching our company culture, and are highly motivated to succeed
