You and your job
As Manager Security Operations you play a crucial role in maintaining and improving Rabobank’s cybersecurity posture. You ensure cybersecurity incidents are swiftly detected, analyzed, and mitigated, by your team maintaining the organization's digital security. You lead the security incident response process, coordinate efforts to neutralize threats and minimize damage, thereby safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the trust of Rabobank’s clients.

• Swift Security Incident Response: Promptly detect, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and incident to minimize damage and protect digital assets.
• Skilled Team Management: Lead and train a competent Security Operations team capable of handling complex security challenges.
• Standardization and Automation: Automate the security incident response and update/maintain procedures to standardize operations and enhance security.
• Resource Optimization: Ensure the Security Operations team has the necessary knowledge, experience, tools and technology to to effectively perform its duties
• Clear Communication: Act as the liaison for security incidents, maintaining transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders and regional SOCs.

• Lead and manage the Security Operations team (security analysts, business analysts threat hunters and product owners), manage the Security Operations budget and resource planning effectively.
• Coordinate security incident response and security crisis management during cyberattacks.
• Optimize security processes and improve detection and response mechanisms.

The Manager Security Operations leads a team of security analysts and threat hunters to detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats and attacks. Responsibilities include security incident management, compliance enforcement, and optimizing security processes. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience with cybersecurity frameworks, SIEM tools, and regulatory standards.

You and your talent

• Proven leadership experience within a SOC or cybersecurity team
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
• Problem-solving abilities and decisive action in high-pressure situations
• Ability to perform well under pressure
