You will be a valuable asset of the Global Procurement Bottling Solutions team, and will support senior buyers with day-to-day business, within the category of Whey Derivatives. We offer you a great opportunity to look into one of the essential resources of Danone, to collaborate in a multicultural environment and to be a key part of the implementation of sourcing strategies. You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, supplier performance’s evaluation in the manufacturing facilities, tracking implementation of corporate contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and optimization projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

Category management & database:

• Data collection: Gather and update data for Business Continuity Plan (BCP) files; Update category databases for plastic bottles, caps & closures and preforms; track molds/capacity/BCP status.
• Safety stock level management: Monitor supplier stock levels (raw materials and finished goods) for all bottling solutions
• Build and share Danone factories roadmap: Create and animate factories around roadmap on productivity, reformulation, quality, safety, and BCP projects.

Supplier Relationship management:

• Collect inputs ahead of SRM review: Gather supplier quality data KPIs and supply KPIs in preparation for SRM reviews and help deliver performance objectives (productivity, negotiation) as well as decarbonization roadmap.
• Rebuild/reframe the supplier pricing sheet template: Redesign the template to harmonize data, streamline the rolling forecast process, and enable quicker pricing benchmark checks.

Market scouting & benchmark:

• Market trends: Support on researching and reporting on current market trends linked to bottling packaging and new technologies
• New innovations released: Identify and document innovations in the market.
• Lightweighting benchmark: Conduct and analyze light weighting benchmarks to support Danone CO2 reduction footprint
• Should cost analysis: Assist in global benchmarking and should cost analysis to identify SWOT and competitiveness.

Sobre ti

• You are currently a Bachelor’s/Master’s student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, or another related field;
• Excellent communication skills and you enjoy being in touch with multiple stakeholder;
• Proficient in Excel (PowerBi is a plus);
• You are not afraid to share your opinion or ask questions when needed;
• Highly motivated and proactive;
• Analytical skills.

As a Global Procurement Bottling Solutions intern, handling multiple tasks at once will be second nature to you. You can translate data into actionable insights and have great critical thinking skills. On top of that? You’re an analytical self-starter who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residence permit);
• Ideally available to start in May/June 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 3-4 days per week.
