In this vital role, you’ll conduct rigorous quality checks throughout the supply chain, maintaining exceptional standards of product quality with a keen eye for detail. Tricks of the Trade

• Inspecting fruits and vegetables: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming fruit and vegetable shipments to assess freshness and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Investigating quality issues: Investigate and address any issues related to our fresh produce or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Evaluating supplier performance: Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with stakeholders: Collaborate closely with our procurement team to select reputable suppliers and ensure that all products meet our standards for our Fruits and Vegetables.
• Ensuring compliance: Work closely with our operations team to ensure proper handling, cold chain compliance, and transportation of products, maintaining freshness and excellence of our produce.

⭐ About You

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in or willingness to learn inspection processes, inspection techniques, and food safety regulations.
• Preferably some expertise in fruit and vegetable standards, grading systems, and industry best practices.
• Interest in working in a logistics environment.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance, in the food industry with a focus on fresh products.
• HBO educational background related to food quality, agriculture, or a relevant field is a plus.
• Availability for flexible working times; morning shift 06:00-15:00 and afternoon shift 14:00 - 23:00.
• Availability for weekend shifts.
• Good level of English; Dutch is a plus.
