We are looking currently for a proactive and analytical:

Lead Specialist, Supply Planning

with continuous improvement mindset to join our team in Delft.

As a Lead Specialist, Supply Planning, your primary responsibility will be to match demand and supply by managing the sales and operations planning process for defined product groups.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the planning process in the development of a plan encompassing the agreed sales, supply, and inventory plans, to meet the short- and medium-term policies of the business;
• Provide input to S&OP meeting with "what if" scenarios to the proposed plan and simulate the effect of various alternatives;
• Ensure the effective execution of the S&O planning process;
• Prepare proposals for the demand plan based on input from the demand forecast analyst and ensure an accurate supply planning process by finalizing the master production schedule;
• Give input to definition of inventory levels and define stock policies in agreement with business management;
• Manage alignment of PMC strategies/projects with stakeholders and identify chain improvement projects with business and manufacturing management;
• Manage the cost budget and coach employees.

You Bring 

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management or similar;
• At least +/- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in an international planning environment in the Food industry;
• You have good skills in planning and priority settings: you make plans for your own work, and you set priorities;
• You are proactive, analytical and can work under pressure: you quickly see the core of the problem and you are able to translate this into practical solutions;
• Experience in working with SAP;
• Fluent in English, French as an advantage.
