French-speaking Project Manager – Waste Management

Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate efficient waste collection schedules across multiple retail locations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local waste service providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.
• Act as the main point of contact for retail stores, coordinating waste collection needs, addressing issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure all waste management activities comply with French and EU waste regulations, including recycling and sustainability requirements.
• Monitor waste volumes, track vendor performance, and prepare reports for CSRD and ESG compliance.
• Address operational challenges such as missed collections, urgent waste removals, and route adjustments.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Fluent in French & English (spoken and written).
• Strong planning and coordination skills to manage routes and schedules efficiently.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with vendors and store managers.
• Knowledge of waste regulations, EPR compliance, and sustainability policies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to manage unexpected issues in collection logistics.
• Experience in waste management, logistics, or environmental sustainability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, route planning tools, and reporting systems.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
