As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will work closely with our team of backend developers and UX designers to build user-friendly and scalable solutions. Our solutions are used worldwide and are crucial to our customers' success. You will work on projects that impact both shop employees and managers in the retail sector, ensuring that the user experience is always optimal.

Your responsibilities

• Development: You will be responsible for developing new features and optimising existing interfaces for our cloud-based products;
• Design and implementing: Together with the Front-End team, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the technical direction of our applications, coming up with innovative solutions that fit the growing demand for scalable and user-friendly products;
• Technologies: You will work with technologies such as Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, Kafka and Github Actions to develop user-friendly interfaces that make retailers' work easier and more efficient;
• Personal development: You will be given the space and responsibility to shape your own development. Whether it's deepening your technical skills, social skills or discovering new technologies, we support your learning ambitions.

Required experience and skills

Self-sufficiency and taking responsibility are therefore important within this team and in your role as a Full Stack Web Developer. You are consciously looking to interact and collaborate with your team on content and social issues. You also have the communication skills to interact with customers if necessary.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Experience: You have at least one year of experience as a Software Developer or similar role;
• Education: You have a completed college/university education, preferably in a development direction;
• Frameworks: You have experience with Web Frameworks (e.g. PHP, Symfony and/or Laravel);
• Language skills: In addition to fluency in Dutch, you have a good command of English.
• Nice to have: If you have experience with Javascript and/or Vue.js, that's a big plus;
• Nice to have: If you have experience with deployment (DevOps) and/or data analysis, that is a big plus, but not required;

Good to know: You are available for 32 -38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are present on our campus in Groenlo at least two to three times a week.
