You can make your mark as a **Work Class Remotely Operated Vehicle (WROV) Onshore Coordinator** at Boskalis Marine Services by being in charge of a challenging and complex piece of robotic equipment. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of our worldwide WROV operations and maintenance activities from our onshore base. This role is crucial to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our WROV systems, which are used in fields ranging from subsea oil and gas development projects, IRM (Inspection, Repair and Maintenance), offshore wind projects, construction to UXO surveys, cable lay/pipe lay, trenching, salvage and scientific research. **Your responsibilities:** - Coordinate all WROV operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards (such as IMCA) and company policies. - Develop and maintain schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs. - Liaise with offshore WROV teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency. - Monitor and report on the performance, including budgets, for the WROV systems and equipment. - Ensure all WROV operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems. - Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations. - Conduct regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities. - Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations. - Collaborate with Operations managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. - Liaise with and manage subcontractors on WROV services. **Your qualities and experience:** - At least 2 years of relevant working experience. - Experience in working with electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanics. - Experience with Work Class ROVs is preferred. - Offshore experience is preferred. - Education (bachelor’s) degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field. - A team player mentality. - Willingness to travel globally, to our WROV systems, subcontractors and vessels. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications. - Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, in a 24hrs industry. - Professional English communication skills (both written and verbal). **What you can expect:** - A dynamic environment: A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact. - Rewarding conditions: A competitive salary and much more, including holiday allowance, holiday entitlement of 26 days (based on a full-time contract), a non-contributory pension scheme, collective schemes such as company health insurance, and travel allowance. - Career development: Plenty of opportunities to realize your full potential.
