You can make your mark at projects located throughout the world, from Asia, Middle East, and Brazil to Greece or Germany. As emergency responses to vessels are unplanned, the role requires flexibility for being deployed to a project which could happen anytime, anywhere in the world.
On the project location, the shore coordinator acts as primary local contact for the operational team for logistics and equipment-related matters and also financial-related aspects. These matters will vary in complexity depending on the nature of the project and the location. You will also make agreements (financial and otherwise) with local suppliers to facilitate contractual requirements with our customer. At the end of the project, you will manage the return logistic of the salvage equipment and the financial completion of the project by reporting on costs to Smit management and the customer.
