Cegeka continues to grow! Within our Applications software department, we have a division specifically dedicated to managing projects for the Flemish Government. Cegeka’s Flanders Digital initiative, in partnership with the Flemish Government, aims to help Flanders reach the top five most digitized regions in Europe. Cegeka serves as the strategic IT partner for the Flemish Government, supporting the further digitalization of Flanders through digital workplaces and impactful applications for the region’s 6.6 million citizens, including you and me. Think, for instance, of the "Groeipakket," which ensures that 960,000 Flemish families automatically receive the correct allowances and benefits. Or the Flemish Enforcement Platform for the Agency for Justice and Enforcement, which centralizes all information related to administrative enforcement across various inspection services in Flanders. Another example is "Persona," a new application used by the Education Agency to manage staff data. And there are many more projects underway. For these initiatives, we are always looking for people who, as we say in Flemish, have “goesting” (enthusiasm)! Are you excited to help build a digital Flanders? • You handle incident and problem tickets for the relevant application, ensuring accurate resolution.
• You keep the application documentation up to date.
• You take responsibility for risk management concerning the application.
• You oversee the continuity of the application, proactively preventing disruptions.
• You closely monitor the application components’ lifecycle, ensuring timely maintenance and updates.
• You manage the application’s configuration to guarantee consistency and reliability.
• You coordinate with various stakeholders to efficiently handle complaints.
• You report on ongoing and completed vulnerability analyses, including any necessary follow-up actions.
• You carefully track SLA reporting to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• You collaborate with project team members to improve the application and related processes.
• You consult with the client in regular service meetings to review all aspects of service delivery, focusing on stability and continuous improvement.
• You proactively suggest ways to use the application more efficiently and adapt it to evolving needs and environments.
• You discuss the application’s tactical and strategic plans with the client.
• You may be assigned to multiple projects, where you can contribute your expertise to achieving project goals.

What you need to succeed:

• You have several years of experience working in complex environments with multiple service providers, such as within the Flemish Government.
• You have a background in Project Management, but keep in mind that some hands-on tasks will be required, like performing regression tests.
• You bring a broad IT knowledge base and are willing to keep it up to date.
• You have a strong eagerness to learn, especially given the specific tools and processes in place.
• Your communication skills are a strong asset, and your ability to work effectively in a team environment energizes you.
• You are determined and motivated to succeed in a complex role within a fascinating sector with significant societal impact.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch.
