Your contribution to TenneT
- You set the technical direction for operations and maintenance
- By appointment: member of the grid connection system (GCS) management steering team; working together in shared responsibility for the custodianship of the GCS for availability. budget, risk & quality
- Manage a portfolio of small projects, prioritizing work according to risk and financial considerations
- Identify defects and non-compliances from project design and manage these under a warranty process with key vendors
- Leading design efforts and managing project execution, and managing project execution
- Routine monitoring and fault management resolution by coordination of required activities and organising or providing technical support
- Managing the timely preparation, execution and administrative completion of maintenance activities and prioritization of these activities on platform and cable systems
- Ensure business requirements are met on larger projects
- Provide technical input and Lessons Learned to enable future safe and efficient operations and maintenance of existing and new assets
- Assist projects and Operation Readiness Teams in specification of user requirements for new assets
- Ensure operational requirements are incorporated in maintenance engineering asset and organisational planning
- Ensuring efficient and effective Maintenance Plans including Job Cards and Work Orders.
- Budget accountability on cyclic maintenance, repair replacement and investment measures
- Manage and evaluate service contract with key vendors, including tender documents, evaluation of bids, negotiations and ensuring effective contract delivery.
Your profile and background
- Engineering degree on BSc or MSc level with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in offshore platforms or related field
- Relevant knowledge and experience working offshore and working on maintenance projects and understands the dynamics between the different systems
- Familiar with operational environments and usage of maintenance management system like i.e. SAP, Maximo, Ultimo where SAP experience is highly desired
- Established and accepted technical leader, able to effectively work in multi-cultural (subcontractor) teams in both the onshore and offshore domain
- Experience in various electrical and process systems (for example Low Voltage switchboards, UPS Systems, HVA/C, Fire Alarm system, Foam/Gas Extinguishing, Oil/Water Seperation and hazardous drains, navigational aid), and knowledge of the control interfaces for these
- Knowledge of offshore regulatory conditions and legislation (for example DNV, PED, SODM and NEN)
- Natural ability to share knowledge and experience to improve processes and assets
- Being a team player, supporting the Grid Connection Manager with Scope of work, Quality Assurance, Risk assessments and needed interfacing on all levels and departments
- Experience of operational readiness programs for new assets
- Solution driven in unexpected fault management situations to get the asset components back up and running
- Act as discipline lead on multiple simultaneous projects, leading design efforts and managing project execution
- Affinity with, and operational usage skills with SCADA systems (AUX SCADA i.e. Honeywell)
- Manage and evaluate service contracts with key vendors, including tender documents, evaluation of bids, negotiations and ensuring effective contract delivery
- You understand the value of asset data and documentation to operations, so you ensure that maintenance information is recorded correctly to enable safe and efficient operation
- Calm and collected, good interpersonal communication skills, self starter, motivated, highly disciplined, very strong team player, constructive and solution orientated
- Proficient in planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and reporting of maintenance and repair work across a range of disciplines
- Language skills in both Dutch and English, verbal and in writing, at Level B2 (confident) or higher
- Relevant knowledge and experience in occupational safety and environmental protection
- Driver's license

Grid Field Operations is executing Field Operations, Maintenance and (Baseload) Projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of our assets entrusted to us, while also ensuring their maximum availability. We make sure that the onshore grids of TenneT is reliable in Germany and the Netherlands.

- Salary for this position is in grade 8, between € 3.879,- and € 7.660,- gross based on a fulltime position
