About the Role

In your role as a junior sales trader, your primary focus is to build your own customer portfolio and provide strategic trading solutions to support your clients in achieving their emission reduction goals. During an intensive 6-month program, you will engage in outreach and prospecting through cold calling and client meetings. By closely working with experienced sales traders and supported by various training sessions and a strong involvement in your professional development, OTC Flow ensures that your knowledge and skills grow to succeed in this field.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively build your customer portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking;
  • Communicate with clients via phone, online, and in-person meetings to understand their business needs;
  • Identify trading opportunities and support their execution;
  • Act as the primary information source for your contacts;
  • Provide daily pricing and insights to market players through various channels;
  • Monitor markets and stay updated with financial news and developments;
  • Remain informed about the products being traded and new products and legislation;
  • Be responsible for achieving your own revenue target (PnL);
  • Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company's market share.

About You

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field;
  • 0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or similar client-facing roles;
  • Proactive, resilient, and ambitious;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience with cold calling is a major plus;
  • Commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Strong interest in financial markets and commodities;
  • Dedicated to achieving high goals early in your professional career;
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment;
  • Excellent communication in Dutch and English is required.
