Junior Sales Trader at OTC Flow

OTC Flow continues its journey towards becoming the market leader in the environmental commodity sector. We are actively seeking junior sales traders to join our expanding sales trading team based in Amsterdam.

About the Role

In your role as a sales trader, your main focus is to build your own client portfolio and provide strategic trade solutions to support your clients in meeting their environmental compliance objectives. You will actively engage in outreach and prospecting through cold calling and client meetings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively build your client portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking;
  • Communicate with clients through phone, online and face-to-face meetings to understand their business needs;
  • Identify trade opportunities and support in executing them;
  • Serve as the primary source of information for your contacts;
  • Provide daily pricing and insights to market actors through messaging systems;
  • Monitor markets and stay updated on financial news and developments;
  • Stay informed about the products being traded and current on new products and procedures;
  • Be responsible for achieving your own revenue (PnL) target;
  • Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company’s market share

About You

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field;
  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or similar client-facing roles;
  • Proactive, resilient, and ambitious;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; cold calling experience is a big plus;
  • Commercial attitude and entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Firm interest in financial markets and commodities;
  • Dedicated to achieving high targets early in your professional career;
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment;
  • Native-level proficiency in German; excellent communication in English is required.
