Manufacturing Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

• Contributing to the delivery of the Dreadnought Submarine programme, carrying out detail planning work and reacting to issues that arise from build.
• You will be working alongside a buddy, who will be on hand to assist you with any support/training you may need to ensure you are set up for success.
• Attending regular meetings with key stakeholders so the activities within your remit are managed and carried out accordingly within the expected timescales.
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with interfacing teams and departments.

Your skills and experiences:

• HNC or equivalent experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and technical data.
• Good communication skills.

The Manufacturing Build Planning Team:

Working on Dreadnought, you will be supporting an Engineering Masterclass. Contributing to the delivery of the Continuous at Sea Deterrent. Joining an expanding direct team of 9 members, this is part of a larger team of around 40. Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Engineer & Management within team.

In this role, you can leverage on the support within the team, expanding and building upon your experience/knowledge while also having the opportunity to get up close to the product if required.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
