Your Mission

• Ensure smooth and efficient buying and selling (import/export) activities of scrap and recycled metals on METYCLE.
• Assist in commercial negotiations and prepare commercial offers for various products, including payment terms and delivery terms, in collaboration with our trading team.
• Ensure smooth operations, including orders, contracts, and documents.
• Organize bulk and container shipments, as well as rail, truck, and air transport, in close cooperation with logistics partners.
• Draft and review sales and purchase contracts, amendments, and prepare packing lists for deliveries.
• Draft Bill of Lading (B/L) instructions for suppliers and/or logistics partners.
• Optimize the trade flow, operations processes, and the customer journey on our marketplace jointly with our product team.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in B2B transactions with exposure to export/import activities, preferably in the metal scrap and recycling industry or a related sector.
• Diligent work attitude with a keen eye for details and numbers, and eagerness to work outside of your comfort zone.
• Results-driven personality with a hands-on mentality and a strong focus on achieving operational KPIs.
• Knowledge and a general understanding of LME pricing methodologies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset paired with negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Fast learner with outstanding problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in a diverse team.
• Excellent command of English and at least one local language.
• Willingness to travel (~10%).
• Valid work/residence permit for the respective country/EU.
