The Role

We are looking for an experienced Shipbuilding Engineer with a keen eye for precision, quality, and innovation. As a key player in our engineering team, you will use your design, construction, and project management skills to contribute to the production of our advanced shipyards, modular dry docks, pontoons, and HDPE vessels. Your ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently is crucial to maintaining our position as a leading supplier in the maritime sector.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and verify designs, specifications, drawings, weight, and stability calculations according to industry standards.
• Prepare parts lists, order lists, and technical specifications for purchase orders.
• Support the approval process by Class and National Authorities.
• Record and archive designs, drawings, and project-related information.
• Aim for defect-free output by continuously checking your own work for quality.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably within similar roles in a technical and industrial environment.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Maritime Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, or a relevant equivalent degree.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, Cadmatic (+Hull), Siemens NX, Enovia, AutoCAD, Rhino, and more.
• Strong organizational and project management skills (focused on engineering).
• You enjoy working in a team, are effective in planning and organizing, willing to learn new skills, and are result-oriented.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English languages.
• Availability of 32-40 hours per week.
