Senior Specialist Retail Store Development

To support the roll-out and set-up of own retail store development activities across Morocco. This role is responsible for assisting in maximizing the profitability of the market retail portfolio across the adidas brand by managing ongoing investments for Store Development and ensuring standards are kept during the store lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple retail implementation projects in Morocco using CTC concepts and MENA store development processes, to deliver on time and to budget.
• Support in identifying SIS and Franchise opportunities and partners jointly with the Store Development manager and sales manager.
• Support in managing the set-up and implementation of new stores and SIS standard collaboration models by coordinating all involved functions.
• Support in new store setup, SIS, and processes including renovation, maintenance, and IT/window related matters.
• Assist Senior Manager Store Development to create with finance BPM and manage project budget forecast from approval through to completion.
• Follow up on all local approvals and municipality approval if needed.
• Support in managing and maintaining vendor relationships and performance including negotiation, procurement, warranties, and vendor rebate collection.
• Facilitate information flow between 3rd party vendors, internal retail departments, and global counterparts.
• Help manage and maintain standards and relationships with global, EM, and MENA store development teams.
• Manage multiple implementation projects within Morocco at various stages of implementation.
• Support Senior Manager Store Development to manage and sign off all installations, provide documentation with required detail, initiate reverse logistics of excess equipment, and manage all store openings from timeline to opening stage.
• Support in providing Market Forecast (CoE) team. Order Store Concept Hardware and place orders in line with required lead time to ensure fulfillment ready for flawless implementation.
• Measure progress on own KPIs related to BPM accuracy.
• Manage the storage of all fitting accessories related to store/Shop in Shop.
• Implement MENA maintenance framework for all doors in Morocco.
• Prepare and present periodical status updates of the Store Development activities in Morocco in alignment with the local team expectations.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree ideally with projects management focus - construction/civil/architecture/engineering major
• 3-5 Years of overall work experience in retail store projects - design, development, construction, managing contractors/agencies
• Exposure to strategic planning and process re-design
