Your job

With your strong stakeholder management skills, you will take responsibility for project delivery. Your mission: together with the project lead, serve our clients by realizing high-quality execution within the set time frame and budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in projects and/or leading project workstreams, usually at the departmental level
• Facilitating the development of project plans and implementation plans
• Analyzing project information, providing insight into progress, and developing project proposals
• Acting as a point of contact for clients and delivering solutions to challenges that arise
• Organizing and contributing to meetings between project stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment and effective decision making

Working environment

As a Consultant in our Strategy Execution & Implementation department, you'll be part of one of the six Consultancy Expertise teams. Your placement will depend on your experience. We deliver impactful change projects that contribute to the bank-wide strategy.

The services we offer:

Data & Credits Consultancy: Design and implement processes and technology to record customer and credit data attributes, Impact assessment of new credit-related regulations, Design and implementation of new and existing credit-related regulations, RWA reduction projects, Design and implement a future-proof lending journey (e.g., process, way of working, and technology).

Digital & Payments Consultancy: Process digitization, Design and implementation of client-facing capabilities, Design and implementation of employee-facing capabilities, Design and implementation of payment solutions.

Sustainability Consultancy: Change governance design for sustainability-related topics, Impact assessment, design, and implementation of Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR), Design and implementation of strategic sustainability initiatives such as the Climate Plan and ESG initiatives, Advice on current or future change agendas and support for launching new change initiatives.

Regulatory & Compliance Consultancy: Impact assessments for new regulations, changes to existing regulations or major policy changes, Design and implementation of new and existing regulations, Compliance transformation, Design and implementation of improved and automated processes for life cycle management.

Organizational Change & Growth Consultancy: Management consulting, Organisational transformations, Integrations after a merger or acquisition, Setting up partnerships and dismantling business units.

Sales & Operational Excellence Consultancy: Service model design (non-IT), Client segmentation, Design and implementation of processes, Process optimisation and process mining, Business scans, Implementation of Lean Management System capabilities.

Your profile

You are a strong analytical and conceptual thinker with a hands-on mentality, driven to change and improve. As a proactive professional, you take an analytical, independent approach to your work. You have excellent communication skills, are goal-oriented and solution-led. As a result, you are able to optimally manage your stakeholders with a high level of responsibility.

Check your profile:

• A university-level education with 2-5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a background in consultancy
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Project management experience, preferably in financial institutions
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Experience working with different methodologies, such as Agile and Prince2 is preferred
• The ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel
• Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is a must. Proficiency in Dutch is a definite plus

Furthermore:

• The gross monthly salary (min. €4,446 – max. €7,303, grading on different scales depending on your knowledge, experience, and potential) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one-twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• A personal development Budget of €1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to €3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
• An excellent pension scheme.
