The Systems Verification team is involved in planning, designing, building & testing, developing a fully integrated test solution to verify electronics systems, subsystems, features and components.

About the role

  • Carry out verification activities according to SEA Electronic standard process.

  • Feedback verification result to Senior engineer and function team

  • Review and understand System Requirement Spec

  • Assist and develop System Verification Plan from system requirement spec

  • Assist and develop System Validation Plan from system requirement spec for new project

  • Review verification plan with cross functional engineers to define the limits and pass fail criteria

  • Review verification plan with Reliability lead to define the limits and pass fail criteria

  • Carry out EMC/EMI pre-compliance test and review with Senior engineer/Engineer

  • Carry out safety pre-compliance plan and review with Senior engineer/Engineer

  • Create Investigative test plans and review with Senior engineer/ engineer/cross functional team

  • Make sure all the system requirements are verifiable either by quantitative or by qualitative measurements

  • Work independently

  • Execute the test plans

  • Create test reports with the good amount of data

  • Conduct 1st level Failure Analysis and coordinate work with Functional team members for detail root cause.

About you

  • Bachelor / Master / Electronic Engineering / Robotic & Automation Engineering, or related fields

  • Some experience in software / hardware verification, black box testing, system integration testing.

  • Preferably personnel majoring in Engineering, particularly in “Electronics” environment is a plus.

  • Possess a good understanding of electronics/power electronics circuitry and electronic hardware design

  • Posses a good understanding of statistical tools.

  • Able to create verification test plan according the design requirements for both electronic hardware and software.

  • Able to understand the Schematic diagram and PCB layout.

  • Able to understand the C/C++, assembly language, debug emulation, simulation tools of different chipsets

  • Able to perform root cause analysis, risk/failure assessment to ensure products meet its reliabilities

  • Able to carry out hardware & software verification activities with minimum supervision

  • Knowledge in HALT/HASS/MEOST test is a plus.

  • Knowledge in Battery Management System and Secondary Battery Technologies is a plus.

  • Knowledge in mobile apps, WiFi, sensor test and verification is a plus.

  • Fluent in spoken and written in English.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

  • Innovative problem solver willing to search for creative.
