MAINTAINABILITY ENGINEER
Reporting to the RAM and Spare Parts Lead, the Maintainability Engineer will prepare workload studies for estimating maintenance workload during the bid, design and operational phases.
This shall be used to optimize design, supporting business cases for optimizing maintenance workload and justifying the need for floatel or major integrity restoration campaigns.
As a RAM Engineer specializing in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), you will play a leading role in quantifying and optimising performance, availability, and volumetric efficiency of our systems and assets
ROLE RESPONSIBILITES
The successful applicants general responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :
Workload Studies
You will manage and prepare database for maintainability prediction studies that estimate maintenance workload (preventive and corrective) based on SBM fleet experience from CMMS and Subject Matter Experts.
Estimate maintenance workload in “workload studies” for the bid, design and operational phases for FPSOs. This shall consider different disciplines, CMMS, Integrity, Inspections, Operational tasks, third parties, brownfield etc. over the operating life.
Use workload studies to understand the average manhours over a lifecycle per discipline and translate this to onboard headcount (core crew + others) and optimize POB.
Issue O&M execution plan for each operating FPSO, based on trustworthy workload data, enabling rational for data-driven decisions / strategy for resource optimisation.
Use workload studies to justify business cases for:
The use of digital surveillance tools that reduce manpower
Eliminating or enriching / enhancing planned maintenance activities
Floatels or Major Integrity Restoration Campaigns
Develop digital tools for forecasting expected maintenance workload on a live basis.
2) RAM Analysis
You will perform reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) studies to the support the bid, design phase and operational phases in compliance to relevant standards such as ISO 20815 and ISO TS 3250.
Develop business cases for RAM related projects, outlining the financial implications and anticipated returns
Support project team during FPSO RAM study to ensure that equipment with the highest contribution to unavailability impact are identified and help evaluating the optimal risk mitigation strategies.
3) Management System, Documentation and Reporting
You will develop and improve Workload estimation methodology and guidelines by providing feedback and learnings from executed studies.
Maintain thorough documentation of reliability and maintainability analyses, actions taken, and lessons learned.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Personal: Analytical mindset for deciphering maintenance data
Detail-oriented approach in identifying nuances within reliability analyses
Strong problem-solving skills
Leadership: Good levels of written and spoken communication
Ability to lead international and multicultural teams
Technical: Proficiency in RAM modeling and simulation tools
Familiarity with IT / CMMS systems for data collection and analysis
