We’re looking for a Director, Digital Employee Experience Service to join in London, UK or Schiphol, Riijk JOB PURPOSE Leading a global Corporate IT L1 support network across multiple geographies providing a round the clock operational service to the organization Responsible for Service Desk operations providing best in class support to our employees and customers Providing governance & assurance across all inventory and assets ensuring robust and accurate data sets to drive numerous processes Flexible, smart, dependable, trusted, wow and delight our users at every opportunity Accountable for the Audio and Visual assets across the group and the associated technology strategy Ensure a best in class 24/7 Executive & Board support service across all key locations and multiple offsite external events Ensure the skills and development needs for the teams are understood with plans in place to continually grow and nurture the talent Ensure that the team is delivering the necessary services and service levels required to support the LG end user base and customers This position will be the internal “face” of IT to our userbase and executives, ensuring a positive perception of the services offered by the team is imperative Own all Executive and EA/PA interactions to ensure any feedback or issues are quickly acted upon with thorough communication until resolution Look to drive efficiencies through automation and AI, that uplift the user experience and not to its determent DWP service authority for improving the perception of the service and owning the technology choices we make KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Oversee UK, US and NL based IT service desk staff and operations Maintaining end user device compliance to LG policies Own key relationships across the business to validate the service is meeting the needs of the organisation with any issues raised are effectively managed Single escalation point for snr management with end to end ownership Own knowledge management sources for the service Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance Driving service adherence to processes and standards Ensuring effective communications to our users for planned and unplanned outages Working Relationships and Team Working: Internal: Other members of the LG Tech and the DeX team VP Digital Employee Experience Exec Assistant community CEO Office Executive Leadership Team Internal Comms LG Subsidiaries and Ventures External: Hardware and software vendors Mobile providers Contingent labor KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Proven experience as an IT Director or similar role interfacing with snr mgmt Experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and services Sound understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the organization Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Context/Environment: Full time position Required in office M-F or as policy requires Off hours technical work as needed What’s in it for you?
