The Digital Marketer (DM) is part of the Digital Marketing team with responsibility for driving, developing, and implementing digital marketing campaigns. The DM plays a key role in developing and optimizing our use of digital marketing systems, platforms and processes. The DM will work with various and multiple stakeholders across the organization to create effective digital marketing campaigns and improve Marels digital presence.

The position requires 1 – 3 years of experience within the field of marketing automation systems, SEO and SEA, content marketing and designing excellent and tailored customer experiences. The DM will be an integral part in strengthening Marels digital position, ensuring excellent customer experiences leading to creation of leads and driving customer engagement and conversions.

Main tasks

The candidate is expected to mostly, but not exclusively, work on and lead work in the following


  • Optimize and develop the use of our marketing automation system, digital marketing platforms and processes.
  • Create, manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging the broad scope of digital marketing. This includes: marketing automation systems, social media and email marketing, SEO and SEA, content marketing and lead nurturing
  • Propose and initiate new and improved digital marketing campaign ideas
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver project scopes on time and within set budgets
  • Evaluate and report on analytics to assess the effectiveness of our digital marketing activities, providing suitable advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on performance insights

Skills and abilities

The position requires a business-minded individual with a passion for digital marketing, marketing technology, and strong communication and project management skills. Strengths in the following areas are requested:

  • A passion for, and experience working with, marketing automation systems
  • A data driven, analytical and research-oriented attitude
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing tactics and how to convert this into actionable activities
  • Experience in SEO, SEA and social media marketing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient project management skills
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude, willing to get involved in the wider activities of the digital marketing team and the company as well as support colleagues
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Education, knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in communication, marketing or other relevant discipline is required
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years experience working in digital marketing
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural and matrix organization is an advantage
