You and your future During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior Azure Developer / DevOps Engineer.Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition. As a Junior Azure Developer / DevOps Engineer you are a proactive team player who works closely with other disciplines in the DevOps team. You therefore have a natural drive to delve into the adjacent disciplines (T-shape). Collaborating with the Business Analysts in the team is naturally for you and, where necessary, you also take care of part of the (data) analysis and the prototype creation. With your experience you also pitch in the problem areas of the team e.g. helping the testers in creating a test strategy. You have good communication skills. You know how to put forward your own opinion by means of convincing and appealing arguments, whereby your attitude and tone match the other. This ensures broad support. In addition, you are a pro-active team player who immediately sees what a team needs to excel. You create high-value products using Agile/Scrum concepts and principles. With the other Dev Ops Engineers you also ensure security and in-control by design within the department. You support several teams by helping them control progress on the (software) development process. You should be able to T-shape within the team as per the requirement or when time allows. Practical Length: Young Engineering Professional Program: 18 months After which you will continue to work with us as Junior Azure Developer/ DevOps Engineer Hours per week: 40 Your development To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career. Learning from each other Development is our top priority. Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in a comparable position in a complex ICT environment. Knowledge of Banking, Finance and / or the accountability chain is an advantage Strong analytical and conceptual skills; able to translate business requirements into data management (data governance, data privacy, data access and data quality) specifications. Knowledge of Azure Databricks and Azure Delta Lake and/or Synapse is an advantage Knowledge of relational databases like SQL DB and Oracle Knowledge of Python and Pyspark. If you have experience with establishing and maintaining standards and development principles, drawing up specifications for ETL processes, Architecture issues and testing and automation is an advantage. Experience or Knowledge of migration to Azure Cloud, Power BI is nice to have. Knowledge of EDL. Experience with setting up Information Factories incl. setting up data pipelines. Troubleshooting and debugging skills. Proficiency in English language This is what we offer you Most of all, we offer you an 18 month long rich learning experience, while you advance your career towards an expert in your field A gross monthly salary € 3.800 (salary scale 7).
