As a Delivery Lead you are responsible for the sustainable delivery to our business. In this role you will be responsible for the Messaging, Monitoring and Database teams. You will empower your teams to deliver along the overall roadmap. Moreover, you take a leadership role in driving and supporting the development of your team members (~20 to 30 people). You will be part of the department leadership team.

Your profile and background

You are a seasoned IT professional with the following qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT management position
• Several years of experience in leading IT/ Digital change with the demonstrated ability to deliver stable and impactful IT services
• Significant experience in working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
• Belief in a non-hierarchical culture, transparency, and trust in teams, stimulating continuous learning on team as well as individual level, ambassador of servant leadership
• Promoter of inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
• Professional qualifications including relevant university degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of messaging, monitoring and/or database topics is an advantage

Your contribution to TenneT

As a Delivery Lead, you will work closely with the Domain Head and your (business) stakeholders and other Delivery Leads from your domain. On a day-to-day basis, tasks may include:

• Empower team members and create a safe environment fostering innovation
• Enable teams by managing team resources (e.g., strategic workforce planning and requesting additional resources if needed)
• Participate actively in the TenneT planning and portfolio management process (e.g., to provide transparency on team performance and priorities, guard team and product/platform/service interests)
• Support development of your team members (e.g., perform HR tasks like individual performance management, learning and development) and supervise team members in establishing and achieving their personal development goals focused on domain goals
• Foster open dialogue and coaching on individual behaviour in line with the cultural values of TenneT
• Encourage an organizational culture of continuous learning
• Dare to make timely decisions, considering all relevant business and technical factors
• Take accountability for the product/platform/service delivered by your teams

This will be our challenge

BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
