Procurement Management - Singapore Cluster Lead

Job Description Summary

This will encompass strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management, negotiations, and overall operations for procurement activities within scope. This position is highly visible with internal and external stakeholders and will engage directly with suppliers.

About the Role:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies aligned with C&W’s goals and objections
  • Sourcing & Vendor Management: Oversee the onboarding of suppliers and to ensure the suppliers to meet C&W and CLIENT standard assurance onboarding program and to meet the contractual requirements of timing and varying onboarding compliance requirements by country
  • Cost Control: Analyze procurement data, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other business documents including adherence to company policy, compliance, and legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve company objectives. Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required. MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager (or similar role) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management, including English language.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
