Within EPCOR the current vacancy is in the Commercial Department. As EPCOR, we offer airlines and lessors specialized services surrounding Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) transitions and/or repairs.

As an Asset Leasing Manager APU within EPCOR, you:

• Are able to independently execute APU/LRU projects within EPCOR. These include locating available APU’s and LRU’s for lease, purchase and exchange in the market;
• Can review and audit technical records including back to birth traceability, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and EASA/FAA compliance;
• Are an expert in reviewing and negotiating the technical provisions of APU/LRU lease and purchase agreements;
• Have operator knowledge of on-wing maintenance processes (including engines removal/installation, MPD tasks, troubleshooting and removal forecast);
• Are an expert in managing the commercial aspects during deliveries, redeliveries and transitions;
• Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with national and international business partners both face-to-face and remote; maintain high customer satisfaction by working closely with other aviation professionals of all disciplines. Therefore you regularly visit customers/suppliers to establish EPCOR as their preferred partner for APU purchases/leases/exchanges.

To help us tackle the challenges we face, as a Asset Leasing Manager APU, you need to be result driven, proactive and customer focussed. In addition, relevant sales skills and affinity with the preparation of maintenance proposals and contracts in an international environment is preferred. Minimum requirements for this vacancy are:

• Completed degree in the field of (aviation) engineering or equivalent experience;
• Preferably technical APU knowledge for the types in EPCOR portfolio, such as GTCP131-9A/B/C, GTCP331-350, GTCP331-500, and APS5000;
• Relevant professional experience in engine technical field, e.g. working at an aircraft/engine leasing company, a MRO, an airline managing deliveries and redeliveries, or experience with off-wing/on-wing support and maintenance reserve claims. Experience in auditing technical records including engine LLP back to birth traceability, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and EASA/FAA compliance;
• The ability to multi-task, providing coverage to several concurrent projects utilizing external resources or business partners;
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating technical provisions of engine lease and purchase agreements;
• Understands a variety of cultures, is internationally oriented and able to build rapport between organizations, people and cultures. You have eloquent communication skills, diplomatic skills when dealing with customers being open and flexible;
• IT skills in particular MS Office and rental tool management systems;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language and preferable an additional language;
• Willing to work from the Netherlands (Schiphol-Rijk).
