Over de baan

The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that IT Service delivery meet business needs efficiently and effectively. The focus is on delivering stable, high quality services, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong alignment with business stakeholders.

You will work across the organisation with internal teams, external partners, and key business stakeholders to ensure services remain reliable, cost effective, and supportive of Landal’s operational excellence.

Wat je gaat doen

As a Service Manager at Landal your tasks & responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage daily IT service delivery operations, ensuring SLA and KPI adherence across all service areas;
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business Product Owners, IT Product Owners, and IT Operations teams to ensure service alignment, end-to-end support, and continuous service improvement;
  • Act as the primary contact between IT and business units, ensuring transparent communication on service performance, risks, and improvement initiatives;
  • Coordinate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Applications, and third-party providers to ensure full lifecycle management and service continuity;
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on service performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending proactive improvements;
  • Oversee Service Transition activities for new or changed services, ensuring operational readiness and minimal business disruption;
  • Ensure governance and compliance with ITIL-based service management processes, internal policies, and audit standards;
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to contractual obligations;
  • Promote a culture of Continual Service Improvement (CSI), leveraging data-driven insights to enhance service delivery;
  • Support the Head of Service Delivery in strategy execution, budgeting, and resource planning;
  • Ensure IT services comply with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

Wie je bent

  • 8–10 years of experience in IT Service Management or IT Operations, preferably in a multi-site or enterprise environment;
  • Proven success in managing IT service delivery aligned with business stakeholders, IT Product Owners, and IT Operations;
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and technical requirements into actionable service strategies;
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences;
  • ITIL v4 or V3 certification foundation a must, Change Management or Service Transition is a plus;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in managing and dealing with Indian based outsourced companies is a must;
  • Deep understanding of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management);
  • Expertise in ITIL processes, continual improvement, and service performance management;
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service outcomes;
  • Certifications such as ITIL Managing Professional or ISO 20000, are highly desirable;
  • Background in hospitality, leisure, or service-oriented industries is advantageous.

Unfortunately for this position we’re not able to support with a relocation or sponsoring a work visa in the Netherlands. Therefore, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
